Who we are
We are a psychology practice based in Lismore, providing psychological services to adults residing in the Northern Rivers, NSW region.
Our Mission
At enliven minds psychology we provide non-judgemental, compassionate and evidence based treatments to help our clients achieve their goals and improve their mental health and well-being.
Our Approach
We offer a personalised approach, tailoring our sessions to the unique needs of the individual.
Our primary method is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), but depending on the needs of the client, elements of other modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Solutions Focused Therapy may be engaged.
What is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) ?
The aim of ACT is to help individuals develop ways of thinking, feeling and behaving that will support them to live a rich and meaningful life. It promotes the development of psychological flexibility, which is the ability to manage uncomfortable thoughts and feelings and adapt to challenge and change that is inevitable in life.
During sessions clients learn new skills and spend time identifying and strengthening their understanding of their values, what’s important to them and associated goals.

Ronny Lindsay
– Registered Psychologist
Hi, I’m Ronny,
Founder of Enliven Minds Psychology. I have been lucky enough to live in the Northern Rivers region for the past 15 years and understand some of the challenges and issues people may face that are specific to this area.
Having worked within the Forensic field for the past 4 years I strongly believe in the capacity for people to make changes in their life that support positive growth, help manage difficult circumstances and challenges, and lead them in a direction toward a rich and meaningful life.
My approach is non—judgemental, compassionate and collaborative, yet I also like to provide clients with practical tools right from the first session, that they can implement to help make positive adjustments towards challenges they may be facing.
I resonate strongly with the concepts informing the Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which primarily encourage mental flexibility and connection to values and generally practice within this framework, depending on the individual needs of the client.
